Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

unbaked pie shells
4
eggs
1
can 29 oz. pumpkin
1 1/2
C.
sugar
1
tsp.
salt
2
tsp.
cinnamon
1
tsp.
ginger
1/2
tsp.
ground cloves
2
cans
12 oz. each evaporated milk
Instructions
Prepare the pie shells.
Preheat oven 425.
Beat eggs lightly in large bowl.
Stir in remaining ingredients in order given.
Pour into pie shells.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
Reduce temp. to 350.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack.
Notes
It is important to also cut foil strips to cover the rim edge of the pie crust so it doesn't burn.
