This is a slaw similar to one suggested by Rachel Ray, but I prefer my slaw to be less sweet so I reduced the amount of sugar.
Quick Oil and Vinegar Slaw
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 sack 16 ounces, shredded cabbage mix for slaw salads
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix vinegar and sugar.
- Add oil.
- Add cabbage to dressing and season with salt and pepper.
- Toss to combine.
- Adjust seasoning.
- Let stand 20 minutes.
- Re-toss and serve.
