Quick Oil and Vinegar Slaw

This is a slaw similar to one suggested by Rachel Ray, but I prefer my slaw to be less sweet so I reduced the amount of sugar.

Quick Oil and Vinegar Slaw

Serves: 6
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 sack, 16 ounces, shredded cabbage mix for slaw salads
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Mix vinegar and sugar.
  2. Add oil.
  3. Add cabbage to dressing and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss to combine.
  5. Adjust seasoning.
  6. Let stand 20 minutes.
  7. Re-toss and serve.
